“It was me…I let the dogs out!”

My name is Kayla Fritz a.k.a. “Tattoo Kayla” and I’ve been known by many artist personas throughout my creative career, most recently “STRAY DOG” or “straydoggiestyle”.

I’m a full-time licensed tattooer, illustrator, and lettering artist with over a decade of professional design experience. I was classically trained in both traditional sign painting and mural arts and you can find elements of this carried throughout my work. My bold and vibrant illustration style reflects my lifetime love for tattooing; it lives on every surface.

My work has been featured in galleries, global brands, renowned publications, motion pictures, and festivals.

I strongly believe in the power of community and I love to speak at conferences and teach classes and workshops on my practice, and as a neurodivergent creator.

When I’m not creating, you can find me and my wife at our favorite karaoke spot or adventuring with our dog!

At this time, I’m currently only accepting illustrated and painted projects (with a relaxed timeline) on a case-by-case basis.

I WANT TO BOOK A TATTOO!

Step 1: Submit a tattoo inquiry via the form below. Provide as much information as possible. Ex.) Design inspo, tattoo size, location on body, color or shading.

Step 2: Confirm a date on the schedule for your appointment with me!

Step 3: Once a date is selected together, pay your deposit by clicking the “deposit link” button below to our shop portal. The deposit will go towards the final cost of your tattoo and hold your slot.

Step 4: Take a screenshot of your receipt and send it to me to confirm your appointment!

Policy

Please note: A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for all appointments and will go towards the final cost of your tattoo. You can find the “deposit link” button above to the shop portal. (Select $50 and “Kayla” as your artist.) To confirm your appointment on the schedule, make sure you screenshot your payment receipt to send to me afterwards. Cancellations/reschedules made with less than 48 hours notice will require a new deposit to re-book. No exceptions! Thank you for supporting your local tattoo artist! :)
